A soothing scalp massage, relaxing glass of wine, and a fantastic hair cut or color will definitely make your day special. Our reputation is built on our creative talents and expertise. We believe that in order to provide exceptional service a stylist must have an unshakable foundation of technical skills. With special attention to the form, texture and health of hair, we create intelligent cuts and color that suit the person and the personality that wears it. All cut & style services include thorough consultation, scalp massage, relaxing shampoo, style and finish.

		Miranda Cullison Redken Master Specialist As a graduate of the Paul Mitchell School, Miranda was afforded unique opportunities training along side some of the top stylists. She recently completed her advanced training with Redken and is a certified color and cut specialist. Miranda has completed the Redken Master Classes and is certified by Redken as a Master Stylist & Master Colorist. Miranda recently was certified to do our Brazilian Keratin Treatments. This non-chemical straightening treatment is one of our wonderful new services. Miranda's warm smile and dedicated customer service keep her customers completely satisfied and looking forward to their next visit. According to Miranda, "I like working in an environment where it feels like family. I know when clients leave here they have had the highest level of customer service and left knowing how to re-create their hair style."



		Samantha Galarza Salon Director Redken Master Specialist In her five plus years here at That Elegant Touch, Samantha focuses on trendy color and cuts. Samantha has completed the Redken Master Classes and is certified by Redken as a Master Stylist & Master Colorist. She continues expanding her insight with Updo, advanced cutting techniques and the Redken Exchange Color Specialist courses. Samantha is currently working towards her marketing and business management degree. Samantha enjoys the positive energy that surrounds her at That Elegant Touch. This paired with the in-salon training and professional classes makes for a working environment above and beyond any other.

		Jennifer Gooch Redken Color Specialist A stylist for eight years, Jennifer maintains licenses in both Texas and Utah. Her training and specialty is in cutting and coloring techniques, as well as special occasion updos. Jennifer recently was certified to do our Brazilian Keratin Treatments. This non-chemical straightening treatment is one of our wonderful new services. Excellent at working with all hair types, Jennifer works to instill confidence in clients that they can achieve and maintain their new look at home. Jennifer says that clients will love coming here because of the customer service and will return because of the great work.

		Ashley White Stylist & Mineral Makeup Artist Ashley came to That Elegant Touch 2 years ago and has taken classes on various Redken color techniques and Redken products. She has taken the Kenny Burke hair cutting class and trained with L.A. platform artists. Ashley loves to do mulit color highlights and lowlights, and updo's for special occasions. She also does perms, anti curl treatments and make-up applications. Ashley is also fluent in sign language. She is currently taking appointments for color and cuts for women, men and children. Ashley loves that we offer both salon and spa services under the same roof. "This makes it easy for clients to get a relaxing spa service and their hair done in one visit." Ashley thinks all clients will love the relaxing environment.

		Marvin Ascencio Stylist Trained in California and licensed in both California and Texas, Marvin brings a wealth of experience to the salon. After spending his first three years working at a high-end salon in southern California, Marvin came to Texas in 2006 to continue his hairdressing career. Having also completed advance training from Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA, Marvin can provide a variety of looks from classic to the cutting edge of the latest styles. Marvin's specialties range from men and women's cuts and styles, to complex coloring and highlighting techniques. Whether it's just a trim or full coloring service, Marvin's clients always leave the salon happy with their look and continue to return to him to experience a likeable and true professional. When asked what he thinks of the salon, Marvin's response was "This Salon Rocks." He feels that the staff is very knowledgeable about the services they provide and clients will be treated wonderfully.

		Lindsay Smith Redken Color Specialist Mineral Makeup Artist Lindsay has had her cosmetology license for eight years and loves working in the hair industry. Being fully trained by Global Academy Insturctors for Scruples hair care, she has a wide range of knowledge from hair color, highlights, hair cuts, special occasion hair and make up. She really likes creating a new look for her clients and educating them on how to achieve their look at home with the proper at-home salon products. Customer service is her top priority and she wants her clients to feel relaxed, pampered and satisfied when they leave her chair. She believes that stylists have a unique position as one of the few professions still out there that has human contact with their customers. This reason in mind, it is important to Lindsay to give them a great experience that keeps them coming back. Lindsay recently completed the Redken Color Specialist classes and is now one of the certified colorist here at That Elegant Touch. Lindsay likes the "team" mentality here at That Elegant Touch.



		Sarabeth Tate Stylist & Mineral Makeup Artist A graduate of the Salon Professional Academy in Lewisville, Sarabeth studied Redken techniques for both color and highlights. She enjoys doing cuts, styles and all aspects of color for women and making them feel beautiful. Sarabeth recently completed a Minerologie makeup class and loves doing makeup applications for special occasions. Sarabeth recently was certified to do our Brazilian Keratin Treatments. This non-chemical straightening treatment is one of our wonderful new services. She loves taking continuing education classes and keeping up to date on all the newest trends for both color and cuts. You will find Sarabeth to be friendly and outgoing and someone who really cares about her clients. She hopes all of her guests leave her chair having gained self-confidence in re-creating their new look. When asked why she likes her job here, Sarabeth's response was "The friendly and warm environment is the number one thing I like about working here. It is full of people who are talented and willing to share their skills with you. We always try to be fun and upbeat."



		Brooke Endris *Stylist* Brooke graduated from the Ogle School of Hair, Skin and Nails over 10 years ago and continued to keep up with new styles and techniques through continuing education. She apprenticed at The Four Seasons Salon and Spa and has taken hair cutting classes at The Toni & Guy Advanced Academy and at The Aveda Institute. Brooke enjoys doing color techniques and haircuts for both men and women that enhance the client’s personal style. She believes a great, long lasting client/stylist relationship is made through being a good listener and open communication. She knows it is important that your hair work with your lifestyle, whether is be something professional, trendy or easy to wear. “I pride myself”, says Brooke “on providing exceptional service and making my clients feel and look fantastic and I feel That Elegant Touch offers the perfect environment to achieve that.”

		Karen Nguyen Stylist Karen, a McKinney resident of 16 years, is a career stylist and a mom of two. She understands how valuable your time is and educates her clients on how to recreate your style with the minimum of effort. Karen does cuts, color, highlights and perms for both men and women and gets inspiration from her clients. She is a positive thinker, supports our community and believes change can be good. Karen can help you achieve the look that works best with your lifestyle and makes you feel good about yourself. Karen would love to help you make tomorrow a better day.

		Nicki Williams Redken Color Specialist & Stylist Nicki Williams has been a hairdresser for 7 years. She is currently pursuing her cosmetology instructor’s license. Nicki has a BFA in theatrical design and is also a Redken Certified color specialist. Education is very important to Nicki so she regularly attends specialty classes to keep up on the latest products and trends. This love for education is spread to her clients. Nicki believes that the best way for a client to look and feel their best is to educate them on the best techniques for styling and maintaining their hair while passing on important information about the types of products that work best for their lifestyle and hair type. Nicki specializes in versatile cuts and colors that can readily be changed for a dramatically new look just by altering the part line or using a varied styling technique. She also loves to work with clients who find their hair challenging such as extra curly, course, unruly or very fine hair as well as clients who easily grow bored with everyday traditional cuts and color palettes. Nicki excels at taming curly hair, creating edgy razor cuts and personalizing traditional cuts to suit each clients needs. Nicki maintains the belief that each client is an individual so no matter if you are a rock star needing a special occasion style, a librarian looking to revamp your traditional bob, or a soccer mom who is looking to find the new sexy you that you forgot lived under your yoga pants, Nicki can bring out the best parts of your personality and style while teaching you how to keep you new look looking fresh everyday.
